What head size do Bulex masks fit?
Our full-head masks are made for adult heads of roughly 21.5 to 25 inches around, measured just above the ears and eyebrows. A few are sized differently, and those pages say so.

Which masks run small?
The white horned knight is the clearest example: on most adults it sits down to the mouth and leaves the chin out. It suits teens and smaller adults best.

Can I wear glasses under a mask?
Under the rigid half masks, usually yes. Under full-head latex, thin frames can work, but we recommend contact lenses or going without for comfort.

How long can I keep a latex mask on?
Most people are comfortable for 30 to 45 minutes at a time. Take it off between rooms or between scare shifts, and keep a small towel handy.

What if I cannot see well out of the eye holes?
Put the mask on, mark where your eyes actually sit, take it off and widen the openings a few millimetres at a time with small scissors. Latex cuts cleanly and will not run.

Why does a new mask smell of rubber?
That is fresh natural latex. Leave the mask open in an airy room for one to three days and the smell fades on its own.

I have a latex allergy. What can I wear?
Choose from the rigid pieces: the resin muzzle mask, the eyeless blue mask, the silver death mask and all of our horned helmets and crowns.
08Care
How do I clean and store a mask?
Wipe with lukewarm water and a little mild soap, dry it on a bottle or head form away from heat, then keep it stuffed with paper in a cardboard box. Never airtight, never in the sun.
